   Palakkad weather and
climate is almost like most parts of Kerala. The climate of Palakkad
district is tropical- the summer months of March to May are scorching
hot. During the Monsoon months (June to September), the Palakkad
district and its surrounding areas receive heavy rainfall. 

The period between Septembers to February is quite pleasant as the
mercury goes down considerably in the region. The best time to visit
Palakkad is between the months of September and February.

There is so much that is unique to Kerala that the only way to
experience its rich atmosphere, its history and culture is through
traveling in the state and discovering a new facet every day. Here are
some things the tourists will need to know to make the most of their
Kerala visit -

required in the evenings and early mornings. Warm (but not hot) months
are March-May and September-October: at such times the flowers are out,
and though there is humidity, it is not daunting. Mid-May to August is
the monsoon period, so you can expect a wet time. In addition, June can
also be windy.
