Meera Jasmine has openly confirmed about her marriage plans with Rajesh (mandolin player) Rajesh is the younger brother of maestro 'mandolin' U. Srinivas. Meera Jasmine & Mandolin Rajesh were seen at a star function in Dubai sitting next to each other holding hands. Their stay at the same hotel and a 3 days sightseeing together is a clear sign of the the wedding day nearing faster. I wish them all the best of the things to happen in their life Meera Jasmine & Rajesh had these comments for each other for the press. Maeera Jasmine : "He is a great artiste. Meera Jasmine is one the most sought-after actresses in Malayalam film industry as of today. Meera has been often linked to her co-stars.
The recent announcement of her marriage plans with mandolin player U. Rajesh is putting an end to all baseless marriage rumors. She has established herself as a good actress in both Malayalam and Tamil. The actress is presently busy with her much-awaited film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and starring Mohanlal in the lead. Her previous film, Rasanthanthram, starring opposite Mohanlal and directed by Sathyan Anthakkad, was a big hit. There are high expectations from this untitled film too.

The Kerala State film awards for the year 2007 are out Best actress Meera Jasmine for her role in Ore Kadal
Meera Jasmine won the award for her brilliant portrayal of Deepthi, a housewife torn between the responsibilities a wife, mother and a lover.
In all probability, she may win her second national award too for her performance in Shyamaprasad's adaptation of Sunil Gangopathyay's novel, Hirak Deepthi. |

It happened at the shooting of Minnaa Menungu Kootam Meera Jasmine is working along with Prithviraj and Jayasuriya for director by Kamal.
Meera Jasmine happened to come face to face with her brother at the set and walked away knowing that George was involved in the project as an assistant cinematographer.
Luckily the people at the set were lucky enough that George co-operated and stayed away from Meera's site for the sake of the movie. Just the way Mz. Jasmine wanted it to be...
I hate this part. I never expected Meera to be so mean.
How can someone just walk away from a shoot site, where so many people are working together?
If Meera does not like her brother George, she better avoid him and continue to work.
It only shows the way Meera has been brought up. Taking hatred to the core of the heart and wasting other's time.
I believe AMMA did the right thing by banning her from Malayalam movies... I wish it happens with Tamil and Telugu too.
I request Dileep and his AMMA gang to forward a request to Kollywood and Tollywood asking them to throw Meera out for she is such an un-predictable and impulsive decision maker.
I wonder how did the Malayalam Industry tolerate such a Pest all this time...

The movie, scripted by the director himself, will be produced by Rakhiram under the banner of Nihar Films. The new film featuring and about youngsters will be distributed by Mulakupadam Release. |

Meera Jasmine has denied reports appeared in a section of vernacular media that she has entered wedlock with Mandolin player U Rajesh (brother of Mandolin U Shrinivas) in Tirupati recently. A section of media had carried reports that the actress married Rajesh in Tirupati Venkatachalapathy temple. Shooting in Kolkata, Meera Jasmine said, “I deny the reports. They are baseless rumors. I am shattered”. It may be recalled that Meera Jasmine was spotted at a concert rendered by U Rajesh in Chennai recently. Rumors have been part and parcel of Meera's career. |

Me and Firoz were roaming around the streets of Chennai City.
Stopped in front of a Keralite Restaurant seeing a huge black car and enquired
The restaurant was closed but we could see some people inside.
We were told it was Meera Jasmine and family and the car belonged to her.
Aduthu Madolin or rajeshum illayirunnu
We waited and waited and waited pinne pinne "Thomas kutty vittodaaa"
