I find the judges 100% impartial. I guess this is one show were the Judges, Participants and the viewers truly enjoy the show equally. And its controversy free Aired all through out the week from monday to friday from 9pm to 10pm and a repeate telecast at 8:30pm over weekends

I think this is not a reality show - as the discription suggests it might be a talent show - where the judges judge . Is there a SMS or audience participation ?
I do not think this show is in my part of town - unless one of the serials is going to finish - but thus far none seem to be near finishing.
I am not too keen on children's stuff - I saw some stuff from Middle East and there is some Hindi kid's talent show .. I feel that they are not emotionally up there to handle this kind of stuff. And the next issue is they are too early in their careers to do it at the level of the adults. This creates a situation where people compensate and say that it is acceptable because the child is young .... and at the end of the day it is just something that people who like kids will enjoy. Keep in mind that I have been to many shows where my kids performed - it was fun for the parents - but I am not sure if I would call it a serious show.
It is like the under 21 football and the adult's World Cup. It is there and fun to watch but it is not serious battle stuff. But I know that sometimes parents get very serious and it is detrimental to the development of the child !!
But it could be fun to watch as long as it is not too serious.
Hope I can catch it soon at least a little bit to get a feel of what is happening.

An emotion filled episode. Arjun burst out in tears when Vinayak G Krishnan (picture below) was not chosen to fly to Dubai.
They became friends very quick and shared a very "transparent & genuine" friendship which was exhibited throughout the show. This day put everyone in tears when the show ended with these two inseparable friends singing "Yeh Dositi" from Sholay.
 My Best Wishes to all the kids who participated and My Good luck wishes to all those flying to Dubai...

He is a good old friend of my father.
I met him last when he was to compose background music for one of my dad's Documentary film at Chennai. Unfortunately my dad met with a road accident on the same day right in front of the Studio and Master was there helping us through out the day. Thanks to him for that.
I wish him and the rest of the gang going to Dubai all the very best.
 I am awaiting the live Telecast of the Show on 26th January 2008.Nowadays I started to think that Asianet's IDEA STAR SINGER and Kairali TV's Gandharva Sangeetham must not be compared. They are Two different shows with uncomparable participants and Judges! |

I liked this show over the 
‘Gandharva Sangeetham Junior: Season Eight’ The Final will be held in Dubai.
I happened to meet Johnson master at the Bank today. He was in a hurry leaving for Palakkad. 
The Finale - Live show on Kairali TV started at 8:15PM India Time on 26th January 2008.
