Marian campus occupies a site, nestled in the Sahyadri mountain ranges of Kerala.The scenic environment is mountainous, with forestland and mist covered landscape.
We are proud of our campus environment. Students, staff and visitors alike have indicated the quality of the environment as the most conducive for work and study.
 

Guest House
The international guest house on the campus provides star facilities. It has been built especially for eminent faculty members and visitors from all over the globe and for parents visiting Marian.
 

Residential Facilities

Marian is a fully residential campus. A good number of faculty members also reside in the staff quarters within the campus. The brand new international hostel and the existing three hostel buildings run by priests and nuns provide a homely and secure environment for the students.
 

Eco-Friendly Campus
Marian encourages an eco-friendly campus. Students and faculty alike desist from the use of plastics and other non biodegradable materials on the campus. Students are made aware of the modern-day environmental hazards and the social out-reach programs conducted by the college awakens the local people to their responsibility for a greener earth.

SAARC level Debate Competition - 1998-99 for the University Students: Ms.Manju Mary Varghese won first prize

Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs - South Zone Model Parliament Competitions (1998-99) for the College Students: Manjula T., and Manju Mary Varghese - best and second best Parliamentarians

Model Parliament Competitions - University level (1998-99): Marian College Team came in third place.

Word Hunt at the Inter collegiate competitions held at the School of Computer Science, Mahatma Gandhi University in December 2001: Four of our students- Surya A, Deepthi Chandran,Remya D and Anil James secured first prize.

Word Hunt at the Intercollegiate competitions at 'IT Veda 2002' conducted by the School of Technology and Applied Sciences, Edappally: Surya A, Deepthi Chandran, Remya D and Anil James got the second prize

Model Parliament Competitions - University Level (1998-99): Mr. Colin John Joseph was selected the Best President.

I C W A National Level Inter University Debate Competition held at Delhi in December, 1999: Twinkle Abraham & Sudeep Joshy Mathew represented Mahatma Gandhi University

National Level Kamal Nayan Bajaj Memorial Inter University Elocution Competition held at Wardha: Sudeep Joshy Mathew represented Mahatma Gandhi University.

National Level Inter University Debate Competition  in Aligarh Muslim University on January 29 & 30, 2000: Vinod M Nagapally & Jerry Abraham Kurian represented Mahatma Gandhi University

University level Drama Competitions in 1998-99:Sudeep Joshy Mathew was selected as the Second Best Actor

Sports & Games:

State Level Javelin throw competition 1996-97: Benny Joseph won third prize

District Level Javelin throw - 1997- 98 and 1998-99: Benny Joseph won first prize .

District Level Discus throw - 1996-97, 1997-98 and 1998-99: Benny Joseph won second prize

Idukki District Amateur Athletic Meet: Benjamin Sam Mathew won three Ist Prizes in 100 m race, 200 m race, and 4 X 100 m relay.

In 4 X 100 m relay Roji V. Jacob and Muhammad Haneefa won Ist Prize

Interstate cricket tournaments (South zone): Anish C. Antony represented Kerala State

The college was represented at the University Intercollegiate tournaments in Basketball, Cricket, Shuttle Badminton and Athletics .

Our Shuttle Badminton team came out as runners-up.

The college Basketball team reached the semifinals in the Idukki District Basketball championship.

Vinay Philip represented the Idukki District for the senior Kerala State Basketball championship held at Thodupuzha.

Mr. Boby K. Mani, Lecturer in Physical Education was chosen as official at the University Intercollegiate Athletic meet held at Kottayam.
