Activities at Carmelia Haven

Boating

This is the boating through the lakes of Periyar Tiger Reserve. The forests are rich in bird life and arboreal animals like giant squirrel and Nilgiri Langour. Animals like elephant, gaur and sambar are sighted keeping close to the edges of lake.

 

Elephant Ride

An adventure filled 2 hour or half day with the gentle giant of the jungle the Elephant.. one can feel, ride, play bathe, have a show of strength with tug of war & observe them in their natural habitat.

Bullock Cart Discoveries

We invite you to visit the farm lands for a village hidden in the valley behind the mountains of Periyar tiger reserve on a bullock cart.
